Jackson, Wyoming Food Photography

I went with a class to a beautiful restaurant in Jackson, Wyoming called the Lift. They have amazing food which they showcased for us to shoot for this food photography session. This was an extremely fun activity, especially when we were given the privilege to try the food. Granted the food was cold by the time we were done taking images (which was considerably more time than the casual Instagram food post), the food was still delicious. I could tell it would be amazing fresh but the trout was still incredible when it cooled down. I would definitely recommend this place.

I took these images on the roof. They have an upper area on the roof that is absolutely gorgeous.

I used my Panasonic Lumix GH5 to take these images. I used a 25mm lens at f/1.7. Minimal editing was done on these images. Basic highlight and shadow adjustment were done in Adobe Lightroom.

Just behind the restaurant is a beautiful ski resort. Obviously, there is not much snow in the summer time, which makes skiing very difficult. However, it makes food photography prime. Jackson Hole is a beautiful area for photography in general, whether that is food, product, portrait, or landscape.
